A leader in the genre of the contemporary voice, Jay Clayton’s teachings and vocal techniques have been heard across North America. Clayton has made it her life’s work to innovate and push the limits of her instru- ment, singing everything from the classic jazz standard to the furthest boundaries of new music. This intensive workshop is for experienced vocalists; topics covered will include vocal technique, improvisation, sound production and style.
